In this dance by the “Black Crow”, a building's decay is explored via a surreal, mysterious seemingly improvised dance sequence mirrored by the equally surreal, odd tones and scales of George Russel’s music. The choreography and music were combined to illustrate the building's retreat from the physical world, and Nature's advance on it. The music is “Stratusphunk” composed and performed by George Russell. The sextet features Russell (piano), David Baker (tmb), Al Kiger (tpt), Dave Young (sax), Chuck Israels (bass), and Joe Hunt (drums).
