In an essay posted to his blog, Ivo Skoric, of Rutland, breaks down in detail the past year during which he is forbidden to set foot on his home mountain. For close to three decades, since emigrating from Croatia to Rutland in 1990, Skoric and his family have snowboarded, worked at and otherwise enjoyed Killington. But after what he describes as a minor incident in January 2017 with a lift-ticket taker on an otherwise uneventful day, Killington management issues a no trespass order against Skoric, who only wants to enjoy carefree days snowboarding with his son. This week, Skoric sits down with Talking Pictures to record the Readers’ Digest condensed version of what happened to him and the hilarious subsequent adventures he experienced with the American legal system.
